Sembaruthi 26 October 2019 Written Update: Akhila Is Suspicious About Sundaram

In the previous episode, Parvathy is seen being upset that she cannot celebrate Thala Deepavali with Adithya since it will be their first as newlyweds. Sundaram scolds her for dreaming big, adding that their marriage will never be accepted. He also refuses to invite Adithya over and perform all the thala deepavali formalities. Purushothaman, Aishwarya and Arun convince Sundaram for the same. Purushothaman then tells Sundaram that if Akhilandeshwari picks a sembaruthi flower instead of a rose (that she loves usually), he will have to oblige. Sundaram then agrees to it. Meanwhile, Vanaja also puts a bomb in the sweet box given to Parvathy.

Parvathy comes home happy and she tells Ganesh that her wish to celebrate thala deepavali will definitely come true since the thaathaa at the temple also told her so. Just when she is about to open the sweet box she gets distracted by a call. Adithya tells her over the phone that he knows about her wish to celebrate thala deepavali. She keeps fidgeting with the sweet box while talking to him. She tells him about the thaathaa and what he told her.

They hang up and she forgets to open the sweet box altogether. The next morning, Vanaja and gang are not too happy to see Parvathy back at work. Sundaram enters the house with a rose flower and a hibiscus, as told by Purushothaman. Akhila asks him the reason behind it. Sundaram says that he has to make a tough decision and asks her to help him out by picking a flower. He tells her that since she is the Goddess he prays to, he wants her to make the right decision for him.

Vanaja interjects but Purushothaman scolds her. Sundaram hands over the plate to Akhila and she is about to pick the rose but sees the reaction on everyone’s faces. She finally picks a rose and asks Sundaram if he found his answer. He is about to leave when she says that she likes the hibiscus more than the rose. Everyone is happy to hear her decision. She asks him to make his decision based on that. He accepts it and leaves.

Sundaram goes to Adithya’s room to invite him home for the thala deepavali formalities. Adithya refuses to come home and tells him that he wants him to call him mappilai. Sundaram hesitates but when Adithya forces, he gives up, calls him mappilai and invites him home. Aditya accepts the invitation and Sundaram leaves. Vanaja sees Sundaram walk out of Adi’s room and wonders what is happening. She confronts Sundaram in the garden about it and he makes some excuse. She obviously doesn’t believe him.

Akhila is lost in thoughts in her room. Purushothaman walks in asking what she is thinking about and she tells him that she is thinking about Sundaram. She tells him that she finds his behaviour very suspicious and she wants to find out what is bothering him. She also says that there is someone who made him do the flower thing. Purushothaman gets worried. She keeps going on about how she wants to find out every detail about what has happened and who is behind all of this.
