As advised by guruji, Parvathy worships deity to help Akhila ward off the maleficence of the ‘Shani Dosha’ but panics when obstacles arise in her rituals. With a plan to kill Akhila, Vanaja disguises as a nurse and cuts the oxygen tube. Adithya and Arun worry as Akhila’s condition becomes critical. The family is shattered as the doctor informs them that Akhila is brain dead.
In the next episode of Sembaruthi, Adithya and Arun plead with the doctor to save Akhila. Parvathy calls Aishwarya to enquire about Akhila but is aghast when she learns about Akhila’s critical condition. Parvathy refuses to believe and claims that Akhila will recover.
A heartbroken Parvathy informs Guruji about Akhila’s condition, which leaves him shocked. Parvathy sobs bitterly and laments to Guruji about her worship for Akhila to Angarkan going futile. On hearing the word ‘Angarkan’, Guruji is aghast and asks Parvathy as to who recommended his ritual to her and is even more shocked on learning about a woman, who asked her to do the ritual.
Parvathy is taken aback when Guruji tells her that she has worshipped the wrong deity, instead of worshipping Lord ‘Shani’ to overcome Akhila’s ‘Shani Dosha’. Parvathy is dumbfounded when Guruji claims that the woman, who came in the form of a goddess, was an evil spirit.
Guruji further tells Parvathy that being ‘Mahani Amavasya’ the main Sanctorum is closed and will reopen only after the Amavasya gets over. He gets suspicious about Akhila’s enemies doing this to vanquish Akhila.
Guruji asks Parvathy to worship ‘Kalabhairavar’, who can save Akhila. Parvathy, wasting no time hurries to the temple and worships Lord Kalabhairavar to save Akhila. Parvathy completes the ritual and calls Aishwarya to enquire about Akhila. Parvathy is shocked when Aishwarya informs her about Akhila.
Akhila visits the temple and argues with the deity for refusing to hear her prayers for Akhila’s recovery. The goddess hears Parvathy but is helpless due to ‘Amavasya’. Later, Parvathy decides to immolate herself when the deity refuses to accept her prayers.
