Sembaruthi 28 January 2022 Written Update: Akhila accepts Parvathy as her eldest daughter-in-law

In the previous episode of Sembaruthi, Nandini challenges Arun that she will stop Parvathy from completing the rituals. She sends goons to stop Parvathy from performing the ritual. As instructed by Nandini, her goons arriving at the temple create trouble for Parvathy to stop her rituals. Adithya and Arun discover Nandini’s treachery. A goon spreads broken glass pieces to stop Parvathy, but Akhila removes the glass pieces from Parvathy’s feet. Akhila then walks on the glass pieces to guide Parvathy, which leaves Parvathy teary-eyed.

In the next episode of Sembaruthi, Parvathy notices Sundaram in pain and compels him to take medicine. Parvathy is worried as she recalls the astrologer’s prediction about Sundaram and decides to be with him, but Sundaram asks her to go home.

The next morning, the family make arrangements for Parvathy’s function and welcome the guests. Vanaja on the other hand finds a letter written by Arun to find a way to leave the room. Vanaja, under the assumption that she has been held captive in a different place, is shocked to learn that Arun had locked her in her room itself. Vanaja is shocked to learn about Parvathy completing her rituals and frowns at seeing the arrangements for the function.

 Arun and Adithya give Parmehwaran a warm welcome. Vanaja instigates Akhila against Parmeshwaran, but Akhila makes her quiet. Adithya asks Akhila to set her anger aside and open the ancestral ornament box along with Parmeshwaran. Akhila does as requested by Adithya and removes the ancestral ornaments from the box. Soon after, she adorns Parvathy with the ancestral ornaments, and this leaves Vanaja furious.

Akhila then hands over the ancestral sword to Parvathy and announces her to be the eldest daughter-in-law and the heir to the Adhi Kadavur generation. Parvathy with great respect accepts the sword and seeks blessings from Akhila. Later, Akhila gets annoyed when Parvathy approaches Parmeshwaran and stops her as she tries to seek his blessings.
