Janaki Amma is Mr Perumal’s wife and Parvathi and Adithya’s landlady but she is no less than an angel to the couple. In a world where people put money before relationships, Janaki Amma and Mr Perumal do every bit they can to make the couple’s life easier. It would have been easier for them to turn a blind eye towards their problems and only be concerned about their rent but they do not do so.
Once Janaki Amma learns that a bad dream was troubling Parvathi, she advises her to get an Archana done in the temple and reassures her that everything will be fine. What makes her pure at heart is that she cares for Parvathi, even if it means going out of the way for her.
Although Parvathi and Adithya have their own battles to fight as a couple with different social strata, as long as people like Janaki and Mr Perumal, share this journey with them, it will be an easy one for the couple.
