Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, And Salman Khan To Resume Shooting For Their Upcoming Films

When the nation was first hit by Covid-19, the state that suffered the most was Maharashtra. The highest number of cases came from the state and the government had to shut down everything including shooting for films. While everything seemed to be going back to normal, the world was hit with the second wave of Covid-19. Similar to the first time, Maharashtra and especially Mumbai was the worst hit. And once again shootings were stopped. Now with the government hinting at reopening shoots from June 15, 2021, stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar will be seen resuming shoots.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan is currently one of the most awaited films in the industry. After Zero, Shah Rukh will finally be seen on the big screen. Pathan’s shoot started in UAE and had moved back to Mumbai recently. While the shoot was going on at YRF, everything had to be shut down due to Lockdown. Now that shooting will be permissible, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham will resume shooting for Pathan.

Similarly, the shoot of Tiger 3 was also affected with the 2nd wave of Covid-19. The YRF crew were seen on a recce in UAE while Pathan was being shot. Later Istanbul was finalized as one of the major locations. Even Emraan Hashmi was roped in to play the antagonist. Meanwhile, work had to be halted due to the current Lockdown. With restrictions easing down, Salmaan’s Tiger 3 will also be back on schedule soon.

Akshay had recently shared the first look of Ram Setu confirming the news about the film. The cast and crew even went to Ayodhya for the Mahurat ceremony of the film. With everything opening up, Akshay Kumar will also be seen fast-tracking the shoot of his film.
