Previously he used to do so at his Bandra residence, but ever since he bought a villa at Alibaug, he is busy throwing parties there at Alibaug.

Friends and family all travel to Shah Rukh Khan’s Alibaug villa for some much needed retreat. There is room for everyone to stay put and there is also private boats ferrying people to and fro from the Gateway of India to the ALibaug beach house. It’s a wonderful ride all the way through the sun, sea and the much needed fresh air for all Mumbaikars.

Shah Rukh Khan has maintained the property quite well. He has caretakers who are present at the property throughout the year, and they take care of everything that’s necessary. They ensure that the bungalow is neat and clean and spick and span whenever there are any guests coming over.

Usually Shah Rukh Khan and his family spend their birthdays there. They go there for a few days, get their friends over from Mumbai, and party all through the night. Even though they continue to throw the Diwali part at their Bandra residence, Mannat, the other parties are thrown at their Alibaug beach house. The Bandra residence creates some issues of parking for the guest who come to these events, and going to Alibaug is a better way to cut down on the traffic and also on the pollution of the city. Add to that, you get to have an Alibaug beach house all to yourself. What better way can it be!
