On the work front, Shahid will star in Jersey, which is a remake of the Telugu dialect sports drama of the same name. The plot describes the adventures of a cricket player who decides to return to the sport in his late 30s, 10 years after quitting, for the sake of his son. The film was supposed to come out in August 2020, but it was postponed due to the pandemic. This year, Shahid Kapoor would also most likely make his digital debut.
