Shailja Kejriwal posts photo of Fawad Khan and netizens are excited about his performance in an upcoming Zee5 web series

Indian producer Shailja Kejriwal’s recent Instagram post has got netizens excited. She shared a photo of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan with the caption: “FINALLY! “Zindagi” safal!” hinting at Fawad acting in an upcoming Zee5 web series.

Pakistani director Mehreen Jabbar, whose Ek Jhooti Love Story is a 2020 ZEE5 exclusive and Zindagi Original Pakistani drama web series, produced by Shailja, commented: ” Excited for this one.”

Will Sanam Saeed be on the web series? 

There are rumours that Sanam Saeed will also be a part of the project and so predictably there were questions on that. One user asked: “Ma’am are Sanam and Fawad working together on this project?” Shailja responded only with an emoji, heightening the suspense!

A hit pair

Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed were a hit pair in the 2012 Pakistani TV show Zindagi Gulzar Hai. Fawad essayed the character of Zaroon and Sanam of Kashaf.

Fawad started his acting career with the TV sitcom Jutt and Bond. He debuted in Bollywood in 2014 with Khubsoorat, starring opposite Sonam Kapoor. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for Khubsoorat, which catapulted him to fame in Bollywood. In 2016, he acted in the Bollywood film, Kapoor & Sons. He had also started an alternative rock band, Entity Paradigm.
