Shanvi Srivastava On Saheba: The Role Is Different And It Has Multiple Shades

For those of you who don’t know, the lead actor in Saheba is the son of Namma Crazy Star V. Ravichandran. Manoranjan Ravichandran made his debut opposite Shanvi Srivastava in the film and has delivered in every way a newbie should. Shanvi Srivastava, who is an award-winning actress, has over 10 movies on her resume and continues to gain popularity with each film.

The Saheba actress loves Kannada movies and doesn’t hold back in expressing her delight during interviews or the likes. About her role in the film, she said, “Saheba is my favourite role, as the character has many shades. I transform from a simple, poor, dull girl to a confident go-getter. It was interesting to portray these varied emotions”.

In another discussion with a leading daily, she spoke about her pal Manoranjan’s and her role in the film. “Taking up a story like this, in which his character and mine share equal importance, is really commendable. Nobody would do that, especially not a star kid. They would normally look at getting into the industry with a bang, backed by a heroism-driven script”, the actress said.

Shanvi further went on to say, “As for my character, it’s new for me and has multiple shades. The best part about this role are the variations I am able to show, be it innocence, anger or emotion, and these will be new to my audiences as well. My screen space is also phenomenal”.

As an actor, it can be challenging sometimes to portray one personality in a film. But Shanvi has done a fabulous job playing not one but two personalities with equal finesse. Come to think of it, Nandini’s character is relatable in many ways. When we begin a journey towards a goal, we are as good as how Nandini was at the beginning of the film. As life passes by, we eventually gain experience which helps our confidence get to a dignified level.

Shanvi’s natural performance had my complete attention in Saheba. Three cheers for this damsel! We also hope to see another Shanvi-Manoranjan starrer, in the near future! Do you agree with me?
