Shehzada: Kartik Aaryan Goes On The Floors; Actor Shares A Cool Still From The Sets – Pic Inside

Kartik Aaryan posts a photo on his Instagram feed of his upcoming film Shehzada co-starring Kriti Sanon. Kartik posts the picture with a caption that says “Shuru”, marking the beginning of his Shehzada era. The film is a Hindi remake of the Telegu hit film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The Hindi remake will star Kartik Aaryan as the male lead, portrayed in the original film by Allu Arjun and Kriti Sanon as the female lead. Pooja Hedge played the female lead in the original film. Rohit Dhawan will be directing Shehzada; this will be his film after Dishoom, that released six years ago. The film will also feature Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sachin Khedekar and Ronit Roy. Manisha Koirala will be playing Tabu’s counterpart from the original movie. Rumours were being heard about a festive release date, but now, the movie will be released worldwide on the 22nd of November, 2022. Shehzade will be produced by T-series, Allu Entertainment, Geetha Arts, Brat Films, Haarika & Hassine Creations and the head of music will be Pritam.

Kartik Aaryan has been riding the rollercoaster of success that only goes up. Having just finished shooting two films, ‘Freddy’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, he has already begun shooting for Shehzada, as can be seen from the Instagram post. Kartik’s career had sowed the seeds of his triumphant career with his debut, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. His four-minute-long monologue in Pyar ka Punchnama, ‘Problem Kya Hai’, gained immense popularity.

Kriti Sanon has starred in several commercially successful movies like Raabta, Panipat, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Heropanti to name a few. Her latest film was a success on the digital platform on which it was released. She has also worked on music videos like ‘Chal Wahan Jaate Hain’ and ‘Paas Aao’.

The duo, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon had previously worked together in ‘Lukka Chuppi’.
The film was initially supposed to be announced in February and then in June 2021, but was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
