Sherlyn Chopra Claims She Had Refused To Shoot For Raj Kundra’s HotShots App For This Reason!

With the ongoing investigation around the porn film racket, many shocking revelations have come to the surface. Amid this, Sherlyn Chopra has also been in the headlines for her connection with accused Raj Kundra and his company. In her previous statement to Cyber Cell of Mumbai Police, the actor-model had revealed that Kundra requested her to create content for his ‘HotShots’ app. However, Sherlyn refused to do so as she found the content “sleazy and downmarket.”

Sherlyn’s revelations have taken the investigation in a new direction altogether. According to her recorded statements, Raj Kundra had approached the actor’s business manager with another idea of ‘The Sherlyn Chopra App’. Emphasising the idea, the businessman had shared that she could monetize her social media content with this customised app. Following this, in March 2019, Sherlyn signed a contract with the Kundra-owned company ‘Armsprime’. Due to some differences, the actor decided not to renew the agreement.

During her contract period, Sherlyn had shot some videos for the application. And one such clip titled ‘Chocolate video’ was the major source of investigation. After inquiring about the same, the actor had revealed that she had heated arguments with creative teams of ‘Armspirme’ regarding the content. Also, her statement notes that she was associated with the firm for 12 months. Upon not facing any legal troubles during the contract, Sherlyn started believing that such content is acceptable in legal terms.

Her statements were recorded following FIR against OTT platforms in 2020 for allegedly showcasing obscene content. Though Sherlyn did not open up to the media, the ongoing porn racket investigation has brought everything to the surface.

For those unaware, she was summoned by the Crime Branch in relation to the alleged Raj Kundra porn scandal. After this, Sherlyn had applied for anticipatory bail in the Mumbai High Court. On the other hand, ‘Armsprime’ issued a statement clarifying Raj Kundra had no connection with their business. Well, it remains to be seen how the investigation unfolds ahead.
