Bollywood film actor Shilpa Shetty is a fitness enthusiast who is synonymous with Yoga. She swears by yoga to keep herself healthy and fit. In her captions, she explains the health benefits of different asanas and encourages her fans to try them. Recently, she shared a video of Mandukasana while explaining the importance of this pose.
Shilpa Shetty mentioned in her post that this asana ‘focuses on navel centre’ and can help in ‘opening our minds.’ She further mentioned that it helps in ‘reducing blood sugar levels as it works on the pancreas.’ As per the actress, another health benefit of this pose is ‘improved flexibility and mobility of the knee & ankle joints.’ It also helps in reducing fat from the thighs, belly, and hips, she mentioned.
