Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty, who is widely known for her fitness regime among her fans, is back with her yoga session. Scroll down to watch.

If we have to label someone as the flag-bearer of yoga from the Hindi film fraternity, we can’t miss out the name of Shilpa Shetty. A journey, which started 18 years back to cure cervical spondylosis, has now become a part of her identity. Millions of fans take inspiration from her when it comes to practicing yoga. On the account of the same, here is a collage of three of Shilpa’s yoga routine, which will help you to achieve a healthy and active body.

As per the above video, the first routine of Shetty is especially for winters. In it, she is seen practicing Eka Pada Baddha Padma Vrikshasana. For the unversed, it is considered excellent for strengthening the ankles, calves, thighs, glutes, and spine. Meanwhile, this asana also improves balance, the flexibility of the knees and ankles, and helps improve concentration.

On the other hand, the second routine is for the section of her fans, who are working from home. Shilpa believes that the ongoing pandemic situation, in which we are seating for long hours than usual, creates a massive state of confusion for the body. The Dhadkan actor follows this routine to stretch and strengthen the back to avoid any long-term, severe pain. Shilpa also shared that this strengthens the back and abdominal muscles, improves flexibility in the spine, and enhances the body posture. It also relieves back pain and relaxes the back muscles, while opening up the lungs.

Last but not the least, the third yoga routine is Surya Namaskar. But, Shilpa has also given a touch of her creative mind to it to get the most out of it. Interestingly, this can be performed indoors too. While sharing the video, Shilpa had written that this routine is high calorie-burning. So, performing about 8 to 16 repetitions every alternate day will help to reduce fat and increase metabolism. This variation of Surya Namaskar helps to increase shoulder and core strength while improving back flexibility, stamina, and endurance.

We can also see that Shilpa Shetty‘s husband Raj Kundra is also a fitness freak as he often works out with his wife and performs yoga.
