Shruti Haasan’s electrifying performance
The diva danced and crooned to the tunes of her film songs at the Zee Cine Awards! It was nice to watch her take to the stage at the awards show and own it with her amazing talents.
Sayyeshaa’s high-powered dance sequence
For the uninitiated, Sayyeshaa is a trained dancer who demonstrated her skills to advantage when she took to the stage at Zee Cine Awards. Enthralling the fans and audience with her hip-hop steps, Sayyeshaa truly held our attention.
A musical tribute to AR Rahman
Director Gautham Vasudev Menon arrived on stage, said a few beautiful words to describe A.R. Rahman’s work as a music maestro and showered him with a tribute as he crooned to Hosanna. Later, musicians of the industry, Immam, GV Prakash, Anirudh Ravichander and more joined him and they all performed one song by A.R. Rahman, that they love.
Andrea Jeremiah’s dramatic performance
With a wardrobe inspired by Cleopatra and a background theme of Egypt, Andrea floored everyone with her rendition of Manohari from Baahubali: The Beginning. Needless to say, the diva looked exquisite!
Yashika Aanand’s fiery act
While Sai Pallavi and Dhanush’s Rowdy Baby choreography did impress many, Yashika’s rendition is also quite high-spirited. You can only imagine how great the act was if her entry track was Nerruppu da from Kabali.
