Saina Nehwal has become the talk of the town, of late. The Indian shuttler has always tried to the best of her abilities and has made us proud to the fullest. However, in the recent turn of events, B-Town actor Siddharth has made some comments on the shuttler, Saina Nehwal. As a result of his derogatory comments, Hyderabad Police on January 13, 2022, arrested Siddharth.
According to the reports from leading publications, KVM Prasad, Additional DCP, Cyber Crime Wing, Detective Department, Hyderabad said, that, a woman named Prerna had approached Cyber Crime Wing and filed a complaint against actor Sidharth for his derogatory and mean comments on Saina Nehwal. Reportedly, Sections 509 of the Indian Penal Code and 67 of the Information Technology Act have been filed against the actor and even the Police have reported that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the actor.

Siddharth’s Tweet made by the actor on January 6, 2022, made him involved in a controversy and since then he has been facing the wrath of many female and male public figures and celebs via their social media handles.
For the unversed, Siddharth made a comment on Saina Nehwal by retweeting one of the Tweets which were for PM Narendra Modi and how his security was breached by protesting farmers at Punjab. The actor did not only tag Saina Nehwal but he even used words like, ‘Cock and Bull’ in the Tweet. Also, Siddharth mentioned and got back at Saina Nehwal’s 2021 Tweet which was about International popstar Rihanna.

Siddharth defended his Tweets by mentioning that he did not mean to be disrespectful to anyone and he explained that his words, ‘Cock and Bull’ in the Tweet translate to the English idiom and how his words were simply misinterpreted.
