Singham 3 is the upcoming cop-universe film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film will star Ajay Devgn in the lead role and it is set against the backdrop of Article 370 in Kashmir

Rohit Shetty is a filmmaker in the Bollywood industry who is profoundly known for his creation of cop-universe films. Recently, his yet another cop-universe film Sooryavanshi hit the silver screens and it is making noise at the box office. Amid this, the filmmaker had announced his upcoming film starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. They announced Singham 3 in style. It is a franchise film of Singham all starring Ajay Devgn as the lead actor.

Speaking of the film Singham 3, a source of a leading news portal said that Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn had been contemplating on multiple ideas for making Singham 3 and they have finally zeroed in on a subject that’s not just hard-hitting but also relevant. The third installment of Singham will be set in Kashmir against the backdrop of Article 370 being revoked by the Government of India. The film will take references from true events and also showcase how this move of the government has shaken the terror outfits.

On watching Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi with a keen eye, we can see that there is a reference to this in one of the dialogues too, with cops explaining how Article 370 being revoked has resulted in putting a major barrier on the entry of terrorists in Kashmir. The same source also added that it is this thought which will be taken forward in Singham 3 with Bajirao Singham played by Ajay Devgn leading from the main parts of the film.

Adding more to the talk about the film, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty will be shooting for Singham 3 at real locations of Kashmir, with Singham fighting the anti-national elements to bring peace. The draft is being worked up and the makers are all set to take the film on floors next year somewhat in September. The source also informed the leading daily that it’s going to be an Independence Day 2023 release on the big screen. Shetty will shoot the film in Kashmir, Delhi, and Goa, the source concluded.
