Sita on the Road: Meet the intriguing characters of this Kalpika Ganesh starrer

The latest ZEE5 original Telugu movie, Sita on the Road starring Uma Lingaiah, Kalpika Ganesh, Nesa Farhadi, Gayathri Gupta, and Khatera Hakimi marks the directorial debut of Praneeth Yaron. All of the actors are commendable and put up terrific performances. In case you haven’t caught the movie yet, meeting these characters will compel you to go watch the movie as soon as you can!

1) Kalpika Ganesh as Anu 

Kalpika Ganesh plays the role of Anu, who is a choreographer and is quite a disappointment to her parents. She speaks her mind and does not care for fitting in with the societal norms. She is one of the most courageous and spontaneous women you will meet!

2) Babu Rao as Babu

Babu Rao who plays Babu has one of the most impactful character arcs. He goes from ogling at Sarah to actually respecting her. What the ending has to reveal about Babu will have you shocked in a way you never expected.

3) Gayathri Gupta as Gayatri

Gayathri Gupta plays Gayatri and displays a range of emotions proving that she is an amazing actor. She comes to her element as she goes on a road trip with the women, but also has one of the most relatable personalities in the movie. Almost every woman in her late 20s is likely to relate to her!

4) Khatera Hakimi as Mohini

5) Nesa Farhadi as Sarah 

Nesa Farhadi plays the role of Sarah who is a student looking for a topic for her thesis. She happens to be exploring India so that she can complete her thesis. However, a revelation about her awaits you in the climax which makes the movie worth it!

6) Uma Lingaiah as Uma

Uma Lingaiah plays Uma who is sold to a human trafficker by her own father. However, she manages to escape and meet Mohini and Anu who save her. She grows into an impeccable woman during the course of this movie!
