Veteran actor Rajiv Kapoor’s sudden demise was a shock to various fans and Bollywood celebrities. The much-loved actor has worked in a variety of films and has earned a place in the hearts of his fans especially through his personality and sweet behaviour. As his last rites were held on February 9, 2021, various actors and celebrities gathered at his mansion in Chembur to pay their last respects. Actor Sonali Bendre was also present at the venue alongside her mother. She was seen walking out of the mansion after meeting the family and paying her condolences. Other celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Tara Sutaria were also present at the mansion while the ceremony was carried out.

Actor Rajiv Kapoor’s funeral was held on February 9th after the actor passed away due to a severe heart attack. He was famous for his work in the film Ram Teri Ganga Maili which was directed by his father, Raj Kapoor. Various actors and celebs gathered at his funeral in Chembur to pay their last respects while a few people sent their condolences through social media due to the ongoing pandemic. In the video attached above, Sonali Bendre can be seen exiting the mansion and settling in her vehicle after meeting the family.
Sonali Bendre is seen wearing a white kurta which has been paired with a khaki dupatta and a simple facemask. Her mother is also seen in the frame as she is exiting with the actor, in the same vehicle. Sonali Bendre is seen helping her mother settle and also makes it a point to meet a few people before she leaves.

Actors like Alia Bhatt, Tara Sutaria, Shah Rukh Khan were also present at the funeral as they are all close to the Kapoor family. The family also released a statement after the funeral that they are not holding the Chautha ceremony due to the ongoing pandemic.
