Sonam Kapoor’s Sister Rhea Kapoor Reveals Why She Doesn’t Want To Celebrate Karwa Chauth; Makes A Shocking Comment About The Festival

Rhea Kapoor got married in August this year. The filmmaker tied the knot with her best friend and long-time boyfriend, Karan Boolani. The duo has been making headlines since then. However, Karwa Chauth was around the corner and the filmmaker was asked by her fans that why she didn’t celebrate the festival with her husband. However, Rhea Kapoor took to her IG stories and replied to her strangers who called her ‘silly’ for not celebrating her first Karwa Chauth after her marriage with Karan Boolani.

Rhea Kapoor’s reply made headlines and her IG story read, she doesn’t want to collaborate with brands who celebrate Karwa Chauth. The filmmaker said that the festival is something she and her husband Karan Bolani believe in. They don’t like the spirit that it comes from.

Rhea Kapoor said that random strangers are finding her ‘silly’ for not celebrating her first Karwa Chauth but, the filmmaker confirmed that it’s better if they just take care of each other and even thanked her readers for reading her post.

Rhea and Karan tied the knot in August. The couple had a simple wedding ceremony at Anil Kapoor’s home. Rhea’s cousins Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and Mohit Marwah, uncles Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, aunt Maheep Kapoor and close friend Masaba Gupta attended the wedding. The duo’s pictures are always well received by the audience and they often comment with a lot of hearts emojis and love on their pictures and videos.
