Sooryavanshi Day 1 And Weekend Box-office Collection Prediction: Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, And Ranveer Singh Starrer To Earn THIS Much– EXCLUSIVE

Finally, after 18 long months, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi hit the theaters today i.e., November 5, 2021. Sooryavanshi becomes the first Bollywood film to return to the theaters after theaters were reopened. In the wake of COVID-19, theaters and cinema halls were shut following which many Bollywood films had taken the digital route. However, Rohit Shetty’s directorial was the only picture that waited kept its fans waiting but looks like the wait was worth it. As the film has hit the screens today, we exclusively bring you the film’s day 1 and weekend box-office prediction that it might earn.

Film Business Expert Girish Johar exclusively told us, “Sooryavanshi is a very critical film, not only just because of its box-office number, but it will give confidence not only to the fraternity but amongst the audiences as well because the cycle that had stopped 18 months ago will start again. The number is important, but it’s the confidence of audiences that’s more important. If the confidence is high with Sooryavanshi, then the other filmmakers’ who have already announced their films, will be equally excited.”

When asked about the first day and the first-weekend box-office collection of Sooryavanshi Johar told us, “Honestly, I don’t think it is practically possible to predict a number involved one being the mandate that the theaters have received is very fractured. Some have not given 100% occupancy. There are still some places that have time restrictions and some have only 50% occupancy. So, it is not like 100% pre-pandemic times. Also, we are not sure if audiences are keen on coming back to the theaters. So in such a situation, it is very difficult to predict a number.” He further said, “Even if we achieve 50-60% of whatever numbers used to come in pre-pandemic times before Diwali release on Day 1, it will be a very joyful start at the box-office.”
