Sooryavanshi: Revenue-Sharing Dispute Resolved; Filmmaker Rohit Shetty Makes A Big Announcement

Katrina Kaif – Akshay Kumar starring Sooryavanshi is already in the theatre. After one and a half years of waiting, the film is finally out, and likewise, the fans were also very much eager for the film to be released in theatre. Sooryavanshi also stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in extended cameos reprising their roles from Singham and Simmba respectively which is directed by Rohit Shetty.
The film is a cop drama which is the extended version of his cop universe of Singham and Simmba. As per the film’s trailer, the film follows Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi as he tries to stop a terrorist group from attacking Mumbai. The trailer has one of the characters saying that during the 1993 bomb blasts, 1 ton of RDX was brought into Mumbai but only 400 kilos was used and the remaining 600 kilos is still buried in the city. The film follows the trail of that hidden RDX.
The film Sooryavanshi is finally in theater and expectedly the film is getting a good response from the audience. Before the release director, Rohit Shetty expressed his excitement on his Insta’s story giving out the good news as the film is getting a smooth release after resolving the revenue sharing dispute between the produces and the exhibitors. Rohit Shetty mentioned, “Last Battle Won” film is all set to be released in Multiplexes and Single Screens Pan India and also mention the advance booking is open for all. The director wished everyone a Happy Diwali.
While most of the top multiplexes are still debating on keeping the distributor shares at 55 percent. Multiplexes including Carnival Cinemas and Mukta A2 cinema have started the advance booking for the film Sooryavanshi. And many single screens and two-screen cinemas have started the advance booking for the Bollywood venture.
