Squad: Amit Gaur Talks About His Inspiring Journey In Nilesh Sahay’s High Octane Action Drama – EXCLUSIVE

Squad is the new action thriller that was recently released on ZEE5. It is written, directed, and produced by Nilesh Zajeeda Sahay. Squad, which is led by Malvika Raaj, marks the Bollywood debut of Rinzing Denzongpa, son of actor Danny Denzongpa. Malvika Raaj makes her debut with Squad along with Rinzing Denzongpa’s low-energy-Hulk avatar character. The squad is the first Indian film to have been shot in Minsk, Belarus. Amit Gaur is the main antagonist of the film who has impressed the audience with his acting chops.

In an exclusive interview with ZEE5, Amit Gaur spills the beans on shooting Squad. He revealed that working on Squad was a lot of fun and he completely enjoyed the action in the film. He also stated that it was exciting to shoot in a new country because the film was shot in the middle of the pandemic. Amit revealed that he had fun while shooting with guns, action, helicopter chases, fights. All and all Amit is looking forward to working in such more action films in the future.

Further, in the same interview with ZEE5, Amit spoke about his director Nilesh Zajeeda. He said that he met the director a few years before he was told about the action project, Squad. After hearing out the entire plot Amit was ready to work in the action film. He also informed Nilesh that he wants to give it a shot. Amit is grateful to Nilesh for showing faith in him and offering him a pivotal role in Squad. Amit feels that he has worked hard for acting, physicality, action, speech to screen presence. Lastly, Amit expressed his emotions and said that he’s very happy with his work and he also feels that he has delivered the performance to his maximum capability.

The actor also extends his gratitude to the director as it was only because of him that Amit is receiving love from the audience. Further, in an interview with ZEE5, Amit Gaur also spoke out about the body transformation he underwent for Squad. Amit said that he was on his beast mode and interestingly he had to put on 8 kilos for the role. He underwent rigorous training of 3 months before the shoot of Squad began. Amit said that he first time clicked bare body photographs of himself 2 days before leaving for Belarus.

However later, the actor said that the director told asked him to bring his sculpted body. Amit then hit the gym to bring his beast body back. Amit Gaur followed a lot of pain, dedication, hard work, and discipline to ace his role in Squad
