SSR Case: NCB Raids Rhea Chakraborty’s House

Narcotics Control Bureau team raided Rhea Chakraborty’s house along with Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda’s residence.

A team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday morning (September 4) raided the residence of actor Rhea Chakraborty under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act as part of its probe into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June this year. Similar searches were carried out at the residence of Samuel Miranda, who was Rajput’s house manager. Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda were summoned by the NCB for questioning in connection with the case.

An NCB officer said, “They intended to go along (with the search team) due to media presence.” Basit Parihar, who was arrested on Thursday (September 3), along with Zaid Vilatra, for alleged links with Showik Chakraborty and Miranda, was sent to the agency’s custody till September 9 by a district magistrate court. The NCB team accompanied by police officials raided the residence of Chakraborty in Santa Cruz (West) area and Miranda’s house in suburban Andheri (West) area of the western metropolis from 6.30 a.m.
