Sunflower: The Makers Of Sunil Grover’s Next Unveil The Show’s Logo And It Has Amped Up Our Excitement

In February 2021, ZEE5 announced a new original web series, Sunflower that boasts of a stellar cast like Sunil Grover, Ranvir Shorey, Mukul Chaddha, Ashish Vidyarthi, Shonali Nagrani, Girish Kulkarni, and Sonal Jha with some new faces. This new series is based in a housing society called Sunflower, where a murder takes place and it is followed by a police investigation! The protagonist of the series, Sonu, is a lovable character from a small town who is quite clueless when it comes to the ways of the world. He gets involved in the murder and everything he does only makes it worse for him. The makers of the series recently released the logo of Sunflower and it looks very promising!

It looks good, doesn’t it? The feel is not bright and cheery but very mysterious and gives a sense of foreboding.

‘Sunflower’ which is the society where the story unfolds, is a long-standing, famous society filled with residents who have lived there for decades. It is situated in the heart of Mumbai. When the murder occurs, a lot of residents become more worried about the glory of Sunflower rather than the victim who has been murdered! Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi will be playing the role of Dilip Iyer, the society secretary. His character is supposed to be arrogant and full of himself.

The series is said to be a comedy of errors as the protagonist keeps unwittingly drawing attention to himself while the real culprits lurk in the shadows and enjoy the show.  Sunil Grover will be playing the role of Sonu and we cannot wait to see the impeccable performance that he delivers. He has gained a lot of praise for his acting proficiency and choice of roles in the past few years and we cannot wait to see what he brings to the table with Sunflower.

Ranvir Shorey and Girish Kulkarni will be seen playing police officers in the show who investigate the case. Both of these actors have previously delivered some amazing performances and we can’t wait to see them shine in this one.

Now that the logo is revealed, we cannot wait to see these characters in the trailer! Sunflower is written by Queen director, Vikas Bahl and that’s just another reason to get excited about it.
