American model Gigi Hadid has always been fond of her fans and this time, she has hinted at a “different” approach while clicking pictures with them. Only this time, she is concerned about her fans’ well-being during the harsh pandemic times.
Gigi Hadid is presently in Italy attending the glamorous Milan Fashion Week. She mentioned that the COVID-19 protocols are taking a toll on how she interacts with her fans. Keeping the traditional form of interaction in mind, Gigi Hadid is after a more safe approach that involves social distancing. While she still is in favour of the fans, necessary COVID-19 protocols are making her suit the situational demands.
Gigi Hadid was often seen greeting fans with up-close selfies and hugs earlier. During the rest of the fashion month, she will keep her social distance for both her safety as well as her fans’. She took to Twitter to express her need to click pictures with her fans a “little differently” this month.
Gigi also said that she is always willing to get pictures clicked with fans. However, with a little twist this time. She went on to say, “For a picture, please keep some space for me and I’ll jump in the background for the selfie.”
After all, she has taken this decision only after considering the risks of a pandemic situation.
