Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Siddharth Pithani’s bail was rejected by the court saying that in this situation they cannot grant his bail. Read to know more

It’s been more than a year since the demise of MS Dhoni: The Story Untold actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Since then the case of the actor has always managed to be in the headlines due to several reasons and this time the late actor has been in the news because of his roommate Siddharth Pithani who got arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) in May due to his involvement in the drug case which was filed the previous year after the demise of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to the reports, it is said that Siddharth Pithani has once again applied for his bail as he is being accused of the drugs case. Previously, Siddharth Pithani applied for bail several times but the court rejected his appeal.

Recently while having a conversation with Siddharth’s Pithani lawyer Taraq Sayyed, he said that they are going to once again apply for his bail after Siddharth’s charge sheets are being filed by this week. In relation to the scenario, Siddharth Pithani’s name has been dragged in the drug case while investigating the real reason behind the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

While the investigation was going on, Siddharth was arrested by the narcotics authority in Hyderabad under Sections 28,29, and 27 respectively and was further asked to come to Mumbai for further investigation by the higher authorities. In the month of August, his bail was rejected by the special court by saying that at this point in the situation it is very difficult to come to any conclusion whether he is involved in the activities of drug dealers.

Looking at the seriousness of the matter from the investigating reports which had been given to the court by the investigating officer and the shreds of evidence in the form of statements recorded under section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The court announced that the accused was not eligible to get bail at this stage.
