In an interview with a leading news portal, Swara Bhaskar expressed her desire to have her own family and talked about how there are lakhs of children in orphanages. She not only talked about adoption but also revealed that she had met many couples who have adopted children. After that, the actress finalised the decision of adopting a child.

Swara Bhaskar celebrated Diwali with young girls at an orphanage in Delhi this year. Soon after that, she got a registration done under the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) and expressed her desire to adopt a child. Swara is currently on the waiting list to adopt the child. While talking to a leading portal, Swara said that she always wanted a family and children. She realized that adoption was a way of fulfilling her desires. Swara thinks it was her fortune that single women are allowed to adopt a child in India. She also said that she has met many couples who have adopted children, some who were just born and others who are almost adults.

Adding more to it, Swara said that she has informed her parents about the decision to adopt the child after doing a lot of research. Interestingly, both of them completely agreed with her decision. Swara also added that now she is a potential adoptive parent on CARA. She has an idea that she will have to wait a long time to adopt a child but now she is desperate to get this happiness. The actress can’t wait much longer to spend time with her little one.
