Zee Marathi‘s historical drama Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji was extremely popular during its run of 700 episodes spanning a period of three years. On popular demand, the show featuring Amol Kolhe and Prajakta Gaikwad is being retelecasted again on TV during the lockdown. The show focussed on the Maratha king Sambhaji Maharaj’s journey to establish Swarajya in his kingdom. Even though Sambhaji was the key highlight of the show, Maharani Yesubai aka Prajakta’s performance was commendable. Her portrayal of the brave queen Yesubai became the talk of the town soon after her entry. Fans got emotionally attached to her character who made huge sacrifices to save the Maratha kingdom numerous times. Prajakta believes in it and therefore follows a fitness routine consisting of various exercises and activities. The actress frequently visits the gym and doesn’t like to miss her workout. She likes to share photos and videos of her workout on Instagram. Prajakta is often found doing heavy exercises like deadlifts and leg presses to tone her body.
