Taapsee Pannu is amongst the A-league of actresses in Bollywood today. The actress is mostly seen doing films that portray women in a strong light. After Thappad, Taapsee is now back with her new film, Haseen Dillruba, which recently released on Netflix. Meanwhile, the actress is also working on many different projects right from Rashmi Rocket to Shabaash Mithu. Recently, rumours around Taapsee being cast opposite the King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, made headlines. Read on to know how the actress responded to this.

The rumour mills were abuzz that Shah Rukh Khan might now jump to Rajkumar Hirani‘s next after completing his last schedule for Pathan. Their story around immigration has been in talks for quite some time now. While neither SRK nor Hirani has given any confirmation, it has definitely made it to the headlines. Moreover, it was also reported that the bold and beautiful actress, Taapsee Pannu will star in the film opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Taapsee Pannu on working with Shah Rukh Khan
Refuting all rumours around her being SRK’s next leading lady, Taapsee said in an interview with Koimoi, “Agar aisa kuch ho raha hoga na, mai hi khud apne chhat pe chadke bolungi. Koi sharam wali baat thodi na hai ki ‘haye! logo ko nai pata chalna chahiye.’ This is not that kind of news. So when I sign and seal it, I will be the one shouting. Toh aap kahi pe bhi hoge Bombay me, aapko meri awaaz sun jayegi.” Looks like either there has been no talks at all, or the details of the project are yet to be finalized.
On the work front, Taapsee has completed the shoot for her upcoming films Rashmi Rocket, Looop Lapeta and Dobaaraa. She was last seen shooting for Indian cricketer Mithali Raj’s biopic, Shabaash Mithu.
