Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Cast And Makers Pay Homage To Ghanshyam Nayak Aka Nattu Kaka Who Passed Away Due To Cancer

A few days back we lost another one of our beloved actors’ Ghanshyam Nayak. He was best known for playing his role in the hit comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actor passed away after a long battle with cancer on Oct 3. Now, the creator of the show Asit Kumar Modi released an official statement and paid tribute to the ‘great actor’ and a ‘great human being’.

Paying his last respects to Ghanshyam Nayak the producer mentioned that he and Ghanshyam Nayak go a long way back, their families are also related. His passing away is a loss personally to him as well as for the show. Through the years, he kept motivating and encouraging us and, he himself was very happy with the role he was playing in the show. His absence will be felt by everyone and is a big loss for the entire team. We pay homage to a great actor and a great human being and our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this painful time. The producer was quoted saying this to a leading publication.

Asit Kumar Modi took to his Twitter handle and tweeted about the same as well. He prayed for Ghanshyam Nayak and his soul.

The entire crew of the TMKOC is in deep sorrow and took to their social media accounts and paid their deepest respects to Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka. Not so long ago, even Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his Twitter account and conveyed his deepest condolences after he heard the news of the great actor passing away.

In June this year, Ghanshyam Nayak revealed that he is battling cancer and underwent chemotherapy. The actor had spoken to a leading daily and said, “I am eagerly waiting to get back to work. I go through chemotherapy and it happens once a month. The doctor has told me I can work and there is no problem. I just want to spread positivity and tell everyone that I am doing fine.” He had also expressed his last wish and said that he wants to die with the makeup on.
