Box officeMoviesIt has been a week since Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria starrer hit the big screens. While Ahan was immensely lauded for his acting skills as a debutant the film manages to get a steady progression at the box office
Tadap is a romantic thriller drama film helmed by Milan Luthria and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment label in the year 2021. The film features newbie Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria and is a replica of the Telugu blockbuster RX 100 (2018). The movie hit the theaters on December 3, 2021.
With Ahan Shetty, Cinema has gained a bright rising talent. His film Tadap did well at the box office, grossing 21.03 crores in its first week. On Thursday, the movie earned an additional 1.50 crores, which is a reasonable progression when opposed to the 4.05 crores earned on the first day.
At least a beginning has indeed been made for a film that features a rookie in the starring role and was launched at a time when people were just getting back into theatres. Prior to Tadap, there have been a few films starring newbies that have done well at the box office, including Student of the Year and Heropanti.
The audience had mixed reactions to the film, but it did manage to captivate the hearts of the millennials. The audience was attracted by Ahan Shetty’s strong portrayal, and spectators were impressed by the youngster’s acting abilities.
Tadap, directed by Milan Luthria, is a gritty action film with weighty sentences, ancient romanticism, love, treachery, violence, and a few poetry lines thrown in for good measure. Tadap appears to be a traditional romantic drama set in Mussoorie between a man of low means and a woman. Ishaana (Ahan) falls head over heels for Ramisha, an affluent girl (Tara Sutaria).
Her politician dad forces her to marry a Big tycoon, played by Kumud Mishra. However, there is much more to the storyline that strikes the eye. Tara Sutaria, who plays Ahan’s love interest in Tadap, is stunning in sequences of romance and grief. They have hot and heavy chemistry together.
