Rohit tries to recreate how he fell into the valley in front of Preethi. Sushmita, however, pretends to be petrified by Rohit's act and pleads with him to not play around. Preethi notices Rohit and begins to recollect a similar scene that conspired earlier.

Vishnu tells Raghavan and Sathyabhama that he came home to invite them to the inauguration and seek their blessing. He says he wants Sathyabhama to inaugurate the business for him. Sathyabhama continues to insult him. Vishnu reminds her that if he still had the job at the mill, he would not have thought of starting a venture like this one. Sathyabhama understands that Vishnu knows that she is responsible for Pathrosachayan ousting him from the mill. Raghavan is disturbed when he learns about it. Vishnu seeks Raghavan’s blessing. Raghavan is deeply touched and blesses his son. Sathyabhama, on the other hand, refuses to do so.

Sathyabhama rushes to Padmavathy’s house and finds Saroja and the other women rough up Sushmita, who appears to be unconscious on the floor. Sushmita puts up an act in front of Sathyabhama. She tells Sathyabhama that those women were trying to kill her.

Padmavathy tells Sushmita that Balachandran has come to see her. Sushmita asks her to get avocados for them to eat. She scorns Padmavathy when she says that the fruit is expensive. Sushmita asks Balachandran not to address her by her nickname in front of Padmavathy. Balachandran reaches Kudumbashree Hotel with his goons. Sharada is shocked to see him stop by. Everyone else at Kudumbashree stops their work and look stunned.

Shalini tells Sushmita that Sathyabhama must know what happened to Preethi. She fears that Sushmita will disclose the truth to Sathyabhama. Sushmita puts up an act in front of Sathyabhama and Sarala. Upon asking Shalini what happened, Sushmita interrupts and tells them that Rohit fell into the valley. Sathyabhama becomes unconscious hearing the same. Shalini tells everyone that Vishnu is looking for Rohit. She assures Sathyabhama that Rohit will be back unscathed. Sushmita further interrupts and begins to tell about Preethi’s condition, when the police officers walk in.

Vishnu lashes out at Sathyabhama and tells her that she is responsible for all of their ill fate. He reminds her how her villainous ways have always resulted in ruining his and Preethi’s lives. He reminds her that she was forever selfish and that she has never bothered to think outside her box. Vishnu’s words hurt Sathyabhama deeply. He warns her that if anything were to happen to Shalini, he will never forgive her. He attacks Sushmita, when she interrupts him and tries to distract Sathyabhama. He tells everyone that it is Sushmita, who is responsible for Sathyabhama’s attitude. He adds that she is the one that must die. Preethi stops Vishnu and reminds him that if he does so then there is no difference between Sathyabhama and Vishnu. She tells him that this is no time to fight, but pray for Shalini’s recovery.

Vasumathi and Sathyabhama compel Arjunan to tie Roshni the nuptial chain. Shalini comes over with Preethi and asks Arjunan to stop. She tells Vasumathi that the marriage won't take place as it is illegal and asks Arjunan to join her. Roshni holds Arjunan’s hand and tries to stop him as he heads toward Preethi. Arjunan drops the nuptial chain and releases his hand from Roshni’s and embraces Preethi. Vasumathi grabs Arjunan and pushes him away from Preethi.
