Teri Meri Ikk Jindri: By Driving A Taxi, How Mahi Is Inspiring Us To Follow Our Dreams!

Teri Meri Ikk Jindri is creating quite a buzz even before it starts airing on 27th January on Zee TV. The show will follow the tale of Mahi, an ambitious girl and Jogi, a care-free boy. The show is set to break many stereotypes and will feature Mahi fighting her battles, not just at work but for her love as well. But the most unique thing that sets Mahi apart from most heroines is that she is the first female taxi driver in her town!

Mahi wants to earn some money of her own to fulfil all her desires. She comes from a middle-class family and does not want to be a burden on them. But she also does not want them to get in the way of everything she wants. So, she makes her passion, which is driving, her work. She buys a taxi on loan and in a span of a year, she easily pays the loan back. She is so suave that she becomes very famous for her riding skills and gets a lot of rides throughout the town!

It’s extremely refreshing to see a heroine, not in a typical bahu role and someone with a lot of ambition in her eyes. She could really inspire women and girls watching the show to be brave and fight their own battles. Mahi has a very self-reliant way of being. She is confident and knows what she is good at. She tells Jogi something that we should also remember, “If you make your passion your work, then work won’t feel like work.”

We should really take note of this and find things that we are good at. Mahi points us to the world and shows us the opportunities are infinite, we just need to be smart enough to seize it. If Mahi can stir emotion in one promo, we cannot wait for the serial to begin and follow her inspiring journey.

Amandeep Sidhu as Mahi seems to be doing a good job already and her chemistry with Adhvik Mahajan is crackling! She does not pay heed to Jogi’s harmless flirting and concentrates on her life. She even tells him a thing or two about dreams! Isn’t she the dream girl? We wonder if Jogi will be inspired by Mahi and do something big in life like her.
