Teri Meri Ikk Jindri Family Tree: Meet The Cast And Characters Of This New Zee TV Show

Teri Meri Ikk Jindri is the latest show by Zee TV that begins on January 27. The showing follows Jogi and Mahi, two different personalities and how they fall in love. Actor Adhvik Mahajan has been roped in to play the role of Jogi and Amandeep Sidhu plays the role of Mahi in it. The channel recently dropped two promos of the show and fans are quite impressed!

Jogi is a care-free, young boy. He seems to be fun-loving and confident in his skin. He does not feel shy to approach Mahi and even flirt with her unabashedly! He does not seem to have a lot of ambition though, as Mahi clearly points out in the promo of the show. But Jogi seems to really like Mahi, judging by the look in his eyes and the way he follows Mahi wherever they go. It looks like Jogi will be the first to fall in love. We wonder how it will happen!

Jogi’s family comprises of his Haryanvi Jat dadi, Bishno, his mother, a Punjabi Jat, Roopa, his sister and brother-in-law and their daughter, Laado.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bishno is a 65-year-old, who is lovingly called ‘Amma’ in the house. She is a big Amitabh Bachhan fan and loves giving interesting replies to normal questions too. She is extremely hardworking and a strong lady!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Roopa is 50 years old. She wanted to study more, but she got married to Jogi’s father instead. She has lived a difficult life and now her only wish is to see her kids settle down. Besides them, we also have Laddo! She is the youngest and sweetest member of the family. She not only looks cute but also is very good at her studies. Jogi adores her!

Coming to Mahi, she’s extremely motivated about being successful and making money. She drives a taxi and earns for herself. She seems to be a goal-oriented person and never makes hasty decisions. She is smart and she knows it too! She recognizes people and can tell that Jogi has no real passion for anything. She isn’t someone who will fall for cheesy lines and that typical hero behaviour.

Mahi’s family comprises of her Dadaji, Madanlal Chopra, her parents Dharmpal Chopra and Seema Chopra. She has three siblings, Shalu, Renu and Akash. Shalu is married to the rich and influential, Pappuji and Renu is married to Deepak Sood who is a stay-at-home husband.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Madanlal Chopra is 65 and he is the head of the Chopra household. He is the final decision-maker on everything in the house.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dharampal Chopra, Mahi’s father is a clerk at the electricity department. He is a quiet and religious man.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Her mother Seema, fears god but also is not very sincere in her prayers. She is a bit greedy and likes money a lot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shalu is the pretty sister, who is married to Pappuji. She says sweet things out loud, but has shrewd intentions inside.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Renu is the younger sister with bad luck at her side. She dreams of a rich husband but ends up with Deepak, who is a ghar jamai. She dreams of being a beautician in a posh mall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The last sibling is the 19-year-old Akash. He is the most loved in the house, and that often makes him a little arrogant, but he is quite charming when he wants to be. He’s even gotten into a top college in Amritsar.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deepak is Renu’s guinea pig at everything related to beauty. He wanted to be a professor at a college but that didn’t work out. Now, he’s always busy doing some jugaad or the other.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pappuji, the other, richer, son-in-law, is the main villain of the show. Pappuji is against Mahi’s decision to drive a taxi. As per the synopsis, he will also try and put Jogi down for his carefree spirit and Mahi will then stand up for him. Chanda is Pappuji’s sister. She is 21 years old and is a total fitness freak. Her brother gives her everything she wants, yet she dislikes her face as she feels it looks a lot like her brother.

Teri Meri Ikk Jindri is a unique take on love and relationships and it will focus on how two personalities from two different backgrounds can come together and fall in love against all odds.
