Teri Meri Ikk Jindri: Reasons Why Mahi’s Post-Wedding Life Is Reminding Us Of Preeta’s Of Kundali Bhagya

Teri Meri Ikk Jindri is keeping us hooked to our TV screens with all the twists and turns in the lives of Mahi (Amandeep Sidhu) and Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan). While they are married now, Mahi is not ready to accept him or acknowledge their relationship. Also, their families are against their union. If we go back in time, looks like Mahi is living the same kind of life as Preeta (Shraddha Arya) from Kundali Bhagya. When Preeta married Karan (to save Luthras), she was not accepted by anyone and she was living a very miserable life very similar to Mahi’s. Hence that makes us think if Mahi’s post-wedding life will resemble to that of Preeta’s.

Real reasons behind wedding

When Preeta married Karan, she was questioned for her decision and everyone blamed her for choosing the wrong way to be with him. However, no one knew that Preeta did this to save Karan as Mahira (Swati Kapoor) – Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi) wanted to kill Mahesh and get control over the Luthra mansion. Interestingly, Jogi also married Mahi as he was aware of Arjun’s bad character and wanted to save her.

Supporting husbands

Mahi is not happy with the present circumstances however Jogi is standing with her through thick and thin. Jogi also takes her home and makes her believe that she is not alone and her family would eventually come around. In Preeta’s case, Karan was furious at her however, he accepted her and he was always emotionally inclined towards her. Jogi also assured Mahi that she is a determined person and she will certainly make her family believe in her again just like Karan who told Preeta that everything would be okay.

Upset in-laws

Jogi’s family isn’t willing to accept Mahi. His mother had also warned her to stay away from him and blamed her for ruining Jogi’s life. When Jogi brought Mahi to his home as his wife, his mother was furious much like the Luthras. She wasn’t willing to accept their marriage just like the Luthra family who believed that Preeta had fooled them.

Upset families

When Preeta got married to Karan, Sarla was devastated. She didn’t believe that Preeta would ever go to any place where she wasn’t respected. She was also shocked by Preeta’s sudden decision and hence decided to break all ties with her. Similar to Mahi, who was also disowned by her own family. They weren’t happy with her wedding and hence decided to disown her completely.

Siblings support

Later when Mahi attempts to convince her family, her mother refuses to acknowledge her. However, her sister tries to convince their mother to let it go. Similarly, in Preeta’s case, it was her sister, Shristi who stood as support for her. She even made Sarla realize that Preeta and Karan are meant to be together.
