It was a long time dream and wish that got fulfilled for global Bollywood icon Ranveer Singh who met his idol and iconic Bollywood star Govinda in a recent episode of The Big Picture

For all of us, meeting our icon is a huge deal. When the person you want to emulate and be inspired by appears in front of you, you will have the feeling of being successful in life. Ranveer Singh has now experienced something similar. Govinda has knocked on the door of Ranveer Singh’s game show The Big Picture. This show features celebrities as well as ordinary people. In this episode, on the occasion of the New Year, Bollywood superstar No. 1 (Govinda) joins the cast. The audience was ecstatic to see him on the show’s stage.

When Govinda visited the reality show Ranveer Singh is currently hosting, he couldn’t hold back his tears. The ’83’ star was overcome with emotion after meeting his idol, and a video of Govinda attempting to console him has gone viral. As soon as Govinda entered the sets Ranveer laid at Govinda’s feet, holding onto them. The Ramleela actor introduced Govinda to the audience and called him his ‘God’.

The Bajirao Mastani actor also revealed that he didn’t learn to rap from Gully Boy, but rather from Govinda. He then went on to perform, a popular rap song from his film The Gambler.

Recently, in the dance video, Ranveer is seen copying Govinda as he dances on the hit song “Aa Aa Eee Oo Oo Ooo” from Raja Babu. Both the actors were seen wearing similar outfits and caps in addition to shaking a leg together. The Band Baaja Barat actor seemed pretty excited to recreate Govinda’s popular songs.

In the film Kill-Dil, Ranveer Singh collaborated with Govinda. When his dream of sharing the stage with Govinda came true, Ranveer said, “I’ve seen his films 50-50 times since childhood, and I’ve been a big fan of him since childhood.” My hero is Govinda sir.
