The Kapil Sharma Show: Akshay Kumar Teases Kapil Sharma About Watching The Film And Alot More In The Festive Special Episode
Reality ShowsTV ShowsThe promo of the festive special episode of The Kapil Sharma show has released and team Sooryavanshi is all set to mark their presence and double the fun for the festive special episode
Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi is riding high on the success ratio. It’s the first film that has been released since theatres opened. Not only here but even across the borders, the film is shooting up with its success rate. Speaking of the same, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif will be marking their presence on The Kapil Sharma show.
A promo video was released about the show where Akshay Kumar is seen teasing Kapil Sharma and is speaking about how he’s not charging money to come to the show so he must also come to the film and the duo just burst into giggles.
Check out the post here:
In the second part of the video, Katrina is being teased about her film Ek Tha Tiger and it was another joke which attracted lots of applause. The Akshay-Katrina duo then went for even dancing and the promo had a sweet end. This has surely got us excited for the upcoming episode.
Speaking of the box office collection, Sooryavanshi has collected a whopping amount of 50 crores. This might not sound a lot compared to the pre-covid era. But the theatres opening after a year and a half long break, the re-opening decision coinciding with the willingness of the people to come had a lot of things to cope up with.Â
The response has been outstanding but due to state limitations, the business was affected (a bit) in places Maharashtra, MP, Bihar, and Haryana because of 50 percent occupancy otherwise the number would have been ₹34 crore in the domestic market. This was said by Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibasish Sarkar about the film’s opening.
He also said that besides, close to 1000 odd screens have shut down in COVID-19 times and so these are the things that have impacted. But despite that, it has been an outstanding number. It has overshadowed our expectations.
The film’s box office response indicates that the audiences are back in cinemas and it is a moment of celebration, Sarkar said. We are hoping the film will earn over ₹75-85 crore in the domestic market over three days he ended.
