The Kapil Sharma Show: FIR Filed Against Makers For Showing The Actors Under Alcohol Influence In The Courtroom Set

The Kapil Sharma Show, which has been entertaining the audience with its hilarious comedy has been caught in legal trouble now. An FIR has been filed against the makers of The Kapil Sharma Show for showing actors drinking on the stage while performing a courtroom scene. According to the reports, an FIR has been filed against them in the district court of Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. The complainant claimed that the actors disrespected the court.

An advocate from Shivpuri city in Madhya Pradesh filed the FIR in CJM court and claimed that the show has disrespected courts in an episode. The complainant alleges that in an episode a character of the show was shown drinking on the stage while performing a courtroom scene. Apparently, the episode aired on January 19, 2020. It had a repeat telecast in April 2021.

While talking to a leading daily, the lawyer said that The Kapil Sharma Show aired on a television channel is very sloppy. They also make lewd comments on women. In one of the episodes, a court was set up on the stage and the actors were seen drinking alcohol in public. This is contempt of court. He said that it was the reason he demanded registration of FIR against the culprits under Section 356/3 in the court. Such display of sloppiness should be stopped is what the lawyer concluded. Now, according to the reports, the case will be heard on 1 October.

Talking about The Kapil Sharma Show, the show went off the air and returned back after a break of seven months. The show is hosted by a comedian, none other than Kapil Sharma. The show made a comeback with a fresh season on August 21. The show stars Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, and Archana Singh. Even Sudesh Lehri and Gaurav Gera are part of the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show.
