ZEE5’s new horror movie The Wife stars Gurmeet Choudhary and Sayani Dutta in the lead roles and will exclusively release on the platform on March 19. While Gurmeet is a very known face in Bollywood, Sayani is making her debut in the Hindi film industry with this movie. The horror story revolves around a young couple who move into a new apartment but encounter many disturbing situations. As they are haunted by spirits, they not only have to save their crumbling relationship but also stay alive and away from the clutches of the spirits. Sayani’s strong presence on screen has created quite a buzz among the audience and here is all you need to know about this talented actress.

Born and brought up in Kolkata, Sayani has established herself as a brilliant actor in the Bengali film industry. She debuted in the film industry with the movie Na Hannyate in the year 2012. The movie also featured Roopa Ganguly, Rahul Banerjee and Priyanka Sarkar. She later went on to showcase her acting skills with films like Michael and Jadu Kadai.

Sayani also has ventured into modelling and advertisement for many companies. In 2014, she modelled for the first edition of the FFACE calender. Her Instagram photos quite evidently tell us that her modelling skills are quite at par with her acting talent. Sayani also is quite a fitness enthusiast and is often seen doing yoga on her Instagram reels. Sayani also had been a part of many advertising campaigns for Bourvita and Coloroso Sarees.
