Throwback Thursday: Relive The Moment When Amandeep Flew A Kite Across The Border

The Zee Punjabi series Tu Patang Main Dor deals with the journey of Amandeep (Rohit Handa) and his quest to find love. In this journey, Amandeep finds a friend from across the border, Zarina (Chetna Singh). He falls in love with Zarina, but it all started when Amandeep flew a kite to find his uncle’s lost love, Ilma. Let’s travel back to the moment.

Amandeep And Surjan Decide To Send A Message Across The Border

Amandeep wishes to unite the estranged lovers, his uncle Kirpal Singh (Sunny Gill Ambersariya) and Ilma. He decides to send a message to Ilma in Pakistan. He and his friend Surjan (Mukul Sharma) try various methods to do so. Then Amandeep gets an idea to fly a kite across the border with a message.

Amandeep Fights With Rajwant

On the way to the farm, Amandeep and Surjan face an obstacle in the form of Rajwant (Ganni Shergill). Rajwant despises Amandeep and tries to stop him. He challenges Amandeep to an arm-wrestling match and Surjan accepts the challenge. Amandeep wins the challenge and they leave for the farm.

Amandeep Faces Another Problem 

At the field, Amandeep and Surjan get into trouble with the armed forces. The soldiers on patrol duty grant permission for Amandeep to go in the field, but without the kite. Surjan pretends to be sick so that he can push the kite and the string to Amandeep.

Finally…

An excited Amandeep attaches the letter to the kite, ties the knot of the string, and sends the kite sky-high. Amandeep feels proud of himself for making an effort to reunite the estranged lovers. Little does he know that his kite will land in the hands of Zarina, beginning his own love story!
