Throwback Thursday: When Mika Singh and Raghav Chattopadhyay exchanged appreciation songs and performed them on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2020 – Bangla

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2020 – Bangla has an array of brilliant and eminent singers who are the judges on the show. The judges on Zee Bangla‘s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2020 – Bangla include Srikanto Acharya, Akriti Kakar, Joy Sarkar, and Mika Singh. There are three prominent singers on the show who lead three different teams of contestants as well, namely, Iman Chakraborty, Manomay Bhattacharya, and Raghav Chattopadhyay. Recently, Mika Singh and Raghav Chattopadhyay performed each other’s popular jingles on stage on the show.

On Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2020 – Bangla’s episode of November 8, 2020, we saw the continuation of the trio challenges between participants. After one of the performances of a trio that involved Mandira, Debroop, and Soumyajit, the gurus and judges expressed their praises for their performances. Mika Singh and Raghav Chattopadhyay were so impressed by Debroop’s performance that they individually sang the signature jingles that they sing as a sign of appreciation for them. While Mika and Raghav both sang their individual jingles initially, Mika joined in on Raghav’s song. Raghav then said that they should exchange the songs the next time and perform them.

The host, Abir Chatterjee, immediately proposed the idea of Raghav and Mika performing the songs right away. He even named it the ‘duo-challenge.’ Mika and Raghav exchanged the lyrics of their respective songs and approached the stage. Mika performed Raghav’s song Ki Bhalo Gaan’ with extreme attention to the tunes as the audience enjoyed the melody. Soon after, Raghav gave a powerful performance on Mika Singh’s song ‘Saawan Mein Lag Gayee Aag’ and the crowd could not help but groove to the beats. Mika joined in with the Bengali singer on his own song and had a blast on stage.

From participants to the other judges, everyone stood up to shake a leg during their performance. Akriti insisted on hitting the Golden Guitar button. Eventually, Abir, Akriti and Joy hit the button and the confetti burst over everyone as Mika and Raghav ended their power-packed performance.
