Before Turkey, Tiger 3 was shot in some parts of Russia, Istanbul and Mumbai. Tiger 3 is the third instalment of the franchise and the second part was called Tiger Zinda Hai directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, released in 2017. The very first part of the Tiger franchise was called Ek Tha Tiger which was launched in 2012. It was steer headed by Kabir Khan. However, Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma.
