1. Chirutha (2007)

The film is based on the story of a young boy whose father is killed by a mafia in an attack, which also resulted in critical injury to his mother. To save his mother, the child is forced to take the blame for the incident on himself and has to spend 12 years in jail. Meanwhile, his mother dies in this period.
However, after 12 years, the same boy returns with Ram Charan on screen. And from there starts his journey of love and revenge against the man who destroyed his family.

2. Magadheera (2009)
Released in 2009, Magadheera was the second film for Ram Charan. The fantasy action masterpiece was directed by prominent Tollywood director S.S. Rajamouli. The film runs in two phases with one being the history and the other being the present.
The past, as it goes has Ram Charan as Bhairava being a warrior determined to save his kingdom from the attacks of Sher Khan. However, just as the battle ensues, Sher Khan is impressed by the skills and bravery of Bhairava and offers an alliance. Nonetheless, a cousin of Bhairava’s love interest Mithra, who is also the princess of Bhairava’s kingdom, tries to attack Bhairava and instead kills his love interest Mithra. Seeing his love dying Bhairava attempts suicide and the movie comes into the present with all the protagonists and antagonists getting their reincarnated version.
The movie emerged as a superhit and broke all-time records of Tollywood as it remained the highest-grossing Telugu Movie for the next four years. Magadheera also won Ram Charan Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

3. Nayak (2013)
Nayak proved to be another big hit in the filmography of Ram Charan as it also involved Kajal Aggarwal in lead. The actor played a double role, Cherry and Siddharth, for the first time in his Tollywood career. The action-comedy was shot extensively in Kolkata and Hyderabad and was approved to be a good movie in almost all departments.
The story revolves around the characters of Siddharth, who had the murder of CM’s brother on his hands and Cherry, who is a software engineer. Soon after the movie starts, both of them gets involved in each other’s life unwillingly. However, a mixup of their identity helps the duo to not just save themselves, but also their loved ones.

4. Dhruva (2016)
The 2016 action thriller film Dhruva is considered one of Ram Charan’s best movies. Directed by Surender Reddy, the movie was the official remake of the Tamil movie Thani Oruvan. Dhruva was also a milestone in the career of Ram Charan as the movie was also his first remake: thus having higher stakes in the reception of the movie.
Ram Charan plays the role of Dhruva, an IPS officer, in the movie and assists police silently in getting some kidnappers caught. 5. Rangasthalam (2018)
Written and directed by Sukumar, the period action drama Rangasthalam emerged successful on many platforms. Not just it became one of the highest-earning Telugu films of all time, but it also won National Film Award for Best Audiography.
The movie is set in the 1980s and covers the life of Chittibabu (Ram Charan), who along with his brother, is set on a mission to change the local level administration of his village. However, the ensuing trouble cost Chittibabu his brother’s life, and from there starts his acts of revenge.
