Kundali Bhagya completed two years on 12 July 2019. The leading Zee TV show is a spin-off of another popular television serial, Kumkum Bhagya. In its two-year-long run, Kundali Bhagya has broken many records and has been successfully raking in high TRPs and sweeping a top spot on BARC ratings too. The daily soap stars Dheeraj Dhoopar, Shraddha Arya, Anjum Fakih, Abhishek Kapur, Manit Joura, Ruhi Chaturvedi, Supriya Shukla, Sanjay Gagnani amongst others in important roles.

In over 500 episodes, lead couple Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Preeta’s (Shraddha Arya) story has witnessed several twists and turns. A lot has changed since the show first went on the air. So much so, that even Preeta’s style file has undergone a major transformation from the time we were introduced to her. This week on #TransformationTuesday, we take a look at how Preeta’s fashion has evolved on the show.

We bet this picture of Preeta Arora will hit you with major nostalgia! In the initial episodes of Kundali Bhagya, Peeta was this ‘plain jane’ girl who wore solid kurtas and printed dupattas. Shraddha Arya, who plays Preeta, would then sport regular hairstyles like twisted curls, with simple jhumkas accentuating her look. She totally was the girl-next-door!

Soon after Kundali Bhagya went on the air, we saw Preeta experimenting with the way her mane of pretty hair was styled. She was seen donning a hair puff often, in a departure from twisted lose locks with curls on the ends.

Ever since Preeta and Prithvi’s roka ceremony took place, her style underwent a certain change. The curls made a comeback in combination with oversized, chunky earrings that made a statement.

Yes, even the dupattas have gone through a massive metamorphosis! Remember how Preeta would wear plain, printed dupattas with her solid coloured kurtas? Later, we saw her donning beautiful, designer dupattas with shimmer and glitter. Take all you want Karan Luthra, but don’t touch Preeta’s favourite dupatta! We have now lost count how many Karan has torn.

Perhaps one thing that remains unchanged is Preeta’s love for all things dazzles! Be it her roka, or a wedding ceremony or a festival, she has always presented herself in shimmery glory on Kundali Bhagya.

The mid-2018 and early 2019 period saw Preeta Arora experiment to her heart’s content with floral prints. From block prints, she inclined towards bright hues.

We have seen Preeta rock some gorgeous short, knee-length kurtas in the past. Over a period of time, she has upped her sartorial game and switched to floor-length, long anarkalis. Besides, the solid colours are back, only this time she has designer and heavy dupattas to add to the beauty.

Preeta has mostly sported full or three-fourth sleeves on Kundali Bhagya. The wedding sequence was perhaps one of the rare times she wore a cold-shoulder and boy, wasn’t she looking drop-dead gorgeous? Stunning and magnificent, all in one!

Karan and Preeta are finally married, on Kundali Bhagya. From the time Preeta Arora became Mrs. Preeta Karan Luthra, her style has changed too. The recent episodes of the show featured her wearing monochrome kurta sets.
