Travis Scott reaction after the astroworld tragedy

On Friday at the Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas, a tragedy took place in which a large crowd of concertgoers rushed the stage at Travis Scott’s concert, crushing those in front of it. The Rapper came to Instagram to offer a video message after posting a statement on Twitter on the Astroworld tragedy, in which he stated he was ‘totally devasted’ by the incident, which reportedly killed 8 concert attendees. ‘I could never picture anything like this occurring,’ the rapper says in the video.

Rapper/singer posted a series of videos on his Instagram stories on how he’s assisting victims’ families during this difficult time. The rapper expressed his condolences to the tragedy’s victims.

Travis also mentioned how important his followers are to him, saying, ‘My fans are really important to me. I pause the show whenever I can figure out what’s going on and assist them in getting the treatment they require.’
Travis went on to say that he could not have predicted the gravity of the situation, saying, ‘I’m honestly absolutely horrified and I could never fathom something like this occurring.’

The Stargazing singer also stated that he and his crew are cooperating with the Houston Police Department and Houston Fire Department in order to determine the cause of the event. Attendees at Scott’s concert were also encouraged to call local police if they had any information.

Travis also stated in his final message that he will keep his supporters updated. This is Scott’s second comment about the catastrophe at the Astroworld event. In his initial, brief statement, the rapper expressed his condolences to the families of those who had been affected by the catastrophe.

Travis’ girlfriend Kylie Jenner has spoken out about the incident, saying she is ‘broken,’ but maintains she was unaware of the fatalities when she captured crowd footage for social media.
