The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and it is touted to be a monster comedy film. Bhediya is a part of producer Dinesh Vijan’s horror universe. Varun Dhawan is also gearing up to finish the shoot of Raj Mehta-directed Jug Jug Jeeyo. Varun also has Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sanki in his kitty According to the reports of a leading daily, Varun is all set to kick start the shooting for Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis. The film is a biopic that will tell the story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal biopic. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan whereas it is produced been produced by Dinesh Vijan.
A source close to the development informed a leading daily that Ekkis is among the most ambitious projects of Varun’s career and the actor has been in preparing more for the last two years. He was on the verge of learning more about the traits of an army officer. As Jug Jug Jeeyo is coming towards its completion, Varun Dhawan is excited to slip into the first biopic of his career. Ekkis is expected to go on floors from February 2022, is what the source further revealed.
The Student Of The Year actor from last November was doing acting workshops with Sriram Raghavan, which would include body language and diction training. He even learned different forms of war-based action for the movie. Ekkis was slated to go on floors in October 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it came to a halt.
