After having fans hanging for a long time, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif rushed to their individual Instagram accounts a few hours following their nuptials to tell the happy news, sending the internet into a frenzy. The pair wrote in the caption, “In their hearts, there is only love and thankfulness for all that has taken them to this point. As they embark on this new adventure together, they ask for all of our love and blessings.”

On December 9, the pair married in a private ceremony at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur. The celebrations were attended by their friends and family. The wedding of Vicky and Katrina was preceded by a Haldi and Mehendi ceremony. They staged their initial public appearance as a married couple earlier this week at the Mumbai airport.

She made suji halwa at her new residence in accordance with the ‘Chaunka Chadhana’ rite, in which the newlywed prepares the meal for the first time after the wedding.
