The actress shared an important message for all the mothers and kids who are recovering from COVID-19.

The actress also shared that both her children had tested COVID-19 positive last month. Genelia stated that it was on Mother’s Day that she realized many mothers and kids who are diagnosed with coronavirus, would not have been able to celebrate the day. Sharing the video, on her Instagram handle, the actress penned a heartwarming note.

She wrote, “Just yesterday when my kids came and hugged me for Mother’s Day, A thought passed through my mind of all those mums and kids who are Covid positive and couldn’t really celebrate it.. I don’t know what to say except I feel you, I have had Covid and so have my kids, hence I wanted you to know, that we are all in this together and god willing we will fight Corona and beat it soon.”

The video has been doing rounds over the internet for a while now. Also, the netizens are showering Genelia’s post with loving messages. For those unaware, the actress herself had tested coronavirus positive last year. It was just a few weeks ago that Genelia and her husband Riteish Deshmukh took their first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
