Watch: Rahul Vaidya-Disha Parmar’s First Gudi Padwa Celebration Together Is Simply Adorable

Bigg Boss 14 finalist Rahul Vaidya celebrated the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa with his ladylove Disha Parmar. The couple shared a video on their respective social media handles where they were seen performing the festival’s rituals at Rahul’s home in Mumbai. They hoisted the ‘gudi’ and performed the traditional puja together.

For the festival, Disha was spotted donning a traditional Maharashtrian look. She wore a ‘nath’ and a ‘nauvari’ saree. Rahul Vaidya was seen in a beige ‘kurta pyjama’ for the celebration and looked dapper in his traditional attire. Rahul was seen adorably guiding Disha as she performed all the rituals of Gudi Padwa. In one of the videos, the singer was also seen guiding Disha to wish her fans on the occasion of Gudi Padwa in Marathi.

Disha shared her excitement about celebrating the festival for the first time with Rahul and his family. In an interview, she said, “I will celebrate it the way Rahul and his family do it every year — perform the puja, decorate the gudi and hoist it. Nothing is more special than celebrating a festival with family. I was also excited about donning the traditional Maharashtrian attire and the nath.”

Rahul Vaidya confessed his feelings to Disha while being a part of the Bigg Boss 14 house. The singer proposed to her on national television. Later, Disha Parmar made an appearance on the show and accepted Rahul’s proposal to get married to him. The duo is often spotted by the paps as they go out for a date or an event.
