What would happen if Pookalam Varavayi’s Sapthathi was Akhila’s daughter-in-law in Chembarathi?

We all love Sapthathi in Pookalam Varavayi. From being the sweetest companion for Harshan to standing up against Sharmila and Saudamini’s evil plans, she has won our hearts. However, we often see her go through some emotional twists and turns, making us think if it will affect her character in any way. She remains calm and composed in most situations, making us wonder how she will fit in outside Kalapurackal.

Sapthathi is Sharmila’s daughter-in-law who has immense hatred for Sharmila. She is open about the hate she has for Sharmila but chooses to keep it down considering she is Harshan’s mother. She is a friendly soul who is always ready to lend a helping hand, as she has proven with her relationship with Samyuktha. Sapthathi has often looked after Samyuktha and always stands by her side. Though harsh, she has found a way to settle in Kalapurackal.

Meanwhile, in Chembarathi we have Nandana. Wife to Aravind and daughter-in-law to Akhilandeshwari, hers is a totally different setting at Trichambarath. Though Nandana has now settled herself in with the setting, it wasn’t always the case. Nandana has caused a fair share of problems in the family, including a fallout with her mother-in-law. We can only imagine if these situations would have happened if Sapthathi was in Nandana’s place at Trichambarath.

Sapthathi has her own ways of being respectful. Even though she hates Sharmila, she keeps it to herself considering she is her mother-in-law. If she were to be in Trichambarath, she would’ve done the same and thus had a great relationship with Akhila. Unlike Nandana, Sapthathi has a strong mind which won’t be manipulated easily. Even if Vilasini or Ganga tried to bring her onto their side, they would have failed miserably.

Sapthathi showers unconditional love on Harshan and we have no reason to think that she wouldn’t do the same for Aravind. Sapthathi would have followed Aravind’s words and stayed out of the family business, unlike Nandana who decided to ask for separate shares of the company to Anand. Sapthathi’s lack of interest in business or her ability to think beyond pride would have avoided a number of such problems at Trichambarath.

Though Nandana is now a completely changed person who does the right things, Sapthathi would have fit better right from the start. Sapthathi is always on the right side and is always ready to help the ones in need. She would also be a constant pillar of support for Kalyani from day one. Sapthathi’s humble and friendly behaviour would have made their relationship special.
